Columbus - The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus (OLBC) has endorsed 5 mayoral candidates for the November 8, 2005 General Election:

"OLBC is impressed with the experience, track record and vision of the endorsed candidates," said Representative Barbara Sykes (D-Akron) and OLBC President.  "We feel obligated to speak out in these races given the significant influence and impact of each mayoral position.  If elected, we feel confident that the endorsed candidates will partner with all community leaders including members of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus to address the many critical issues facing communities, especially minority and other disadvantaged communities, across the state."
